Java Engineers - Really Complex Interesting Challenges
This is one of the most exciting and promising companies that I have come across in a long time. They have a lot to offer: a well-funded company, an all-star cast of engineers, and execs, cutting-edge technology (Hadoop, Lucene, high volume low latency apps, machine learning, etc), great ideas—->great products, and most importantly, CUSTOMERS! They are bringing order to a chaotic marketplace, a marketplace that is long overdue for some much needed analysis and intelligence. There are lots of moving parts and meaty problems to get behind, including the analysis of terabytes of data, millions of transactions per minute,etc.
We are searching for engineers of all levels (JR- Mid- Sr)
Requirements:
- Bachelors / Masters Degree in Computer Science.
- 1+ years of professional experience
- Very strong Object Oriented and Java Skills
- Multithreading experience.
Nice to have:
- Experience with high volume web applications.
- Experience designing and developing applications that handle a very high load in a very short period.
- Experience designing and building highly redundant systems.
Bonus:
- Hadoop.
- Lucene.
- Very strong Database skills.
- Any machine learning experience.
- Dealing with thousands of transactions per second.
